Only Project to Land a Job

Welcome to the first edition of Code Your Career.

In today’s edition, I am going to tell you about the One Project to Land a Job

You don’t need to have a ton of projects in your portfolio!

You just need one.

And it doesn’t matter what the project is!

Let me explain:

Let’s say you decided to work on a weather app

typical, right?!

You start using the Openweather API to show the current weather of a city.

Well…That’s good but not quite impressive!

Instead of finishing the project and going to the next one, add the following features:

Let users:

• Search for their city (working with queries)

• Bookmark their city

• Save the information on their phone

• Compare the cities

• Add a widget

• work with UI designer to create an awesome interface

By doing this, you show them your true skills.

Like working with REST API, Local data, making query, creating widget in one project.

And that’s what matters! working on a medium to big size project, not many small ones.
